No more boiling water!

Ingrid Ponce, a resident of Trojes, Honduras, used to boil water every day to make it safe for her family. This process required using wood, a very precious resource in Trojes. And, it meant large amounts of toxic smoke in her family’s kitchen. The safe water filter and hygiene education has changed her family’s daily life and improved their overall health and wellness.

“It [the water filter] is very good. We don’t need to boil the water or to chlorinate it anymore, and actually the water from the filter is more purified than all those processes we did before. And it is more practical. It is very good, really.”
