Working With Others
Pure Water had its roots in a Rotary Club in Brattleboro, Vermont. Pure Water then developed projects with Rotary Clubs in Honduras partnering with local clubs in the United States.
These projects gave form and meaning to the mission and goals of Pure Water. Rotary projects are still a major part of what Pure Water does, but Pure Water is expanding rapidly and making other connections with other humanitarian and religious groups to further its objectives.
Pure Water has learned that it can be more effective and efficient with people who already have a local connection in any country in which Pure Water wants to work. Local people know the political landscape and the critical people to get involved with projects in order for them to be successful. This same understanding of how people work has led Pure Water to work with communities and villages where the local leader can be a promoter of our project. This makes that project work well and helps promote what we do into other neighboring villages.
Success breeds success and Pure Water understands that fact.
For those people coming to this website to learn how Rotary Clubs can get involved to help solve the water problem, please look at the Rotary pages. For others who want to get involved or learn more about Pure Water, please contact us.
