Water related illnesses now rare
According to a nurse in charge of the health center for the 300-home community of San Matais, Honduras, diarrhea was by far the number one malady that they treated prior to the filters being installed. Now, according to the nurse, water-related cases of diarrhea are very rare. “The parents that I talk with all tell me that their children do not get sick any more.
