Power in Partnerships
Pure Water for the World/Haiti implements projects by building partnerships with organizations that already have respect and credibility in the community. Our partnering organizations serve the poor, and the vulnerable; and they have a vested interest in the welfare of the people. These organizations have the structure to deliver services to schools and clinics.
Our priority is to provide hygiene education and clean water to the students in Haiti’ schools. In Haiti, as in many developing nations, much of the educational system is private, not public. 85% of the schools are privately operated by mission groups and non governmental organizations. We form partnerships with these organizations so that together we can provide clean water, teacher training, and hygiene education to school children.
Pure Water for the World/Haiti provides a package of services to reduces disease and save and improve lives by providing point of use water purification, teacher training and hand washing and hygiene education tools. We also provide a package of services to reduces disease and save and improve lives by providing point of use water purification, teacher training and hand washing and hygiene education tools.
