Biographies

Vermont staff

Carolyn Crowley Meub
Executive Director

Carolyn serves as the Executive Director of Pure Water for the World, Inc. She previously had a successful career in public relations, as well as special events and organizational management, including projects in political campaigns, and fundraising. She is active in Rotary International, having served as District Governor in 2001-2002 for District 7870, southern Vermont and southern New Hampshire. Carolyn and her husband, Bill, reside in Rutland, Vermont with their three Portuguese Water Dogs – Jackson, Calypso, Abracadabra.

Jamin Peck
Project Manager

Jamin has been working with Pure Water since 2007. After traveling to Haiti in 2008, she became even more committed to supporting Pure Water’s mission. Jamin has been instrumental in donor relations, personnel, database management, marketing, public relations, and her newest effort as Pure Water’s project manager. She also serves as assistant to Pure Water’s Executive Director. Jamin is actively continuing her education, teaching piano, volunteering in her church, and enjoying her large extended family. Jamin is an avid equestrian and trains and competes in dressage. She resides in North Clarendon, Vermont with her horses. 

Haiti staff

Dieudonne Mayambi Khula
Country Director, Haiti

Dieudonne joined Pure Water for the World in 2010, after Haiti’s devastating earthquake. Born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, he holds a degree from the University of Lubumbashi. He has worked for 21 years in a wide range of water, sanitation, and hygiene education (WASH) programs, as well as large-scale public health coordination and supervision of mobile health clinics and field centers in Africa. Prior to joining Pure Water for the World, he worked in New York City in HIV/AIDS program management.

Noelle Thabault
Deputy Director, Haiti

A native of Burlington, Vermont, Noelle is a graduate of St. Michael’s College and The University of Vermont College of Medicine. After serving as a medical officer in the U.S. Navy, Noelle returned to Vermont, where she practiced medicine until 2010. She joined Pure Water for the World, Haiti, in March 2010 as a volunteer following the 2010 earthquake, and has been the Deputy Director-Haiti since September 2010. She has two children in college.

Honduras staff

María Regina Inestroza de Carias
Country Director, Honduras

Maria has been with Pure Water for the World since October, 2006. She is married and mother to a 2-year-old boy, whose first word was agua (water). Maria graduated from Catholic University of Honduras with a major in environmental engineering. Before joining Pure Water for the World she worked at a national protected park on the north coast of Honduras for two years as the coordinator of their environmental education program. As coordinator, she taught environmental and sanitation practices to school teachers and directors. Maria represents Pure Water for the World on the Honduran board of Global Water, and is an active member of Rotary Club Nueva Tegucigalpa. She enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with her husband and son, learning other languages, and movies. 

Oscar Armando Andino
Project Coordinator

Oscar started working with Pure Water for the World in 2008. He graduated from the Technologic University of Honduras in industrial management. He was born 1981, the only son of three children. He was a JCI Member for 2 years, sharing the belief that in order to create lasting positive change, we must improve ourselves and the world around us. He enjoys playing basketball and in 2012 will marry his girlfriend, Yudy — the love of his life.
